Please read the following 'Disclaimer Agreement' prior to Booking.
By booking you agree with the terms of this "Disclaimer'. Please note that if you are Booking for someone else then please ensure that all persons have read and agree with the 'Disclaimer', their participation indicates that they have read and agree with the terms of the 'Disclaimer'. It is the Bookers responsibility to ensure all understand and accept this Disclaimer.
I/We hereby enter into this Agreement/Booking with consideration of my/our ability to ride and my/our intended use of the facilities at Malthouse Lodge Farm, Brinkworth, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 5DA.
By the action of 'Booking and Using the Arena at Malthouse Lodge Farm', I/We hereby acknowledge and confirm the following: • that I/We have familiarised myself with the horse (horses) I/We shall be riding or handling • I/We are competent in the activities I/We plan to undertake whilst riding or handling the horse (horses) • I/We are familiar and competent in the use of the associated tack and equipment • I/We are wearing suitable clothing, footwear and protective gear for the activities I/We plan to undertake • I/We have suitably assessed and familiarised myself with the facilities I/We shall be using • acknowledge and agree that I/We are fit and able to participate in these activities without restriction or limitation • (under 18 only) that I/We shall be supervised always by a parent/guardian or instructor on site • stay in the permitted areas as specified • that I/We shall follow instructions from my parent/guardian/instructor and/or yard owner as necessary.
I/We recognise the inherent risks involved in riding and handling horses, including but not limited to bites, kicks, abrasions, injuries from falls, slips and trips. I/We understand that horse riding is a dangerous sport and as such undertake the activities at our own risk.
I/We hereby specifically waive and release ‘Malthouse Lodge Farm, its owner and its staff or representatives from any liability or costs for injury arising out of the inherent risks from riding, using their facilities or any other activity undertaken as would be covered by this agreement.
Please note that if you have an Instructor or Coach, then they must have their own insurance and in no way are operating under Malthouse Lodge Farm Insurance or Liability cover.
No Smoking or Dogs allowed on site, children under 18yrs must be supervised at all times.
IMPORTANT NOTICE BY BOOKING AND USING THE ARENA YOU ARE SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT AND ARE GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO RECOVER DAMAGES IN CASE OF INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR RIDING, HANDLING OR USE OF THE HORSE. READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING.
